Construction of the 20 kV Overhead Line

The historic “Iliria” building in Tirana, a structure of unique architectural and cultural value, has been successfully reconstructed and adapted to host the College of Europe, a prestigious international academic institution. This marks the opening of the College’s first campus outside the European Union, giving Tirana a prominent place on the European academic map.

ISEC has played a key role in the restoration and functional adaptation of the building.

Conclusions

Main works carried out:

  • Renovation of the façade and restoration of decorative elements, using materials that preserve the architectural identity of the building
  • Replacement of windows and glass façades
  • Advanced interior plastering and gypsum partition works
  • Painting of interior and exterior spaces
  • Installation of modern electrical, HVAC, and IT systems
  • Upgrading of the surrounding areas and external infrastructure, including paving of courtyards, decorative landscaping, and ambient lighting systems
